Planning for Uncertainty (webinar)

In March 2020, our world suddenly changed. The coronavirus outbreak unfolded like a bad sci-fi movie, and imposed many differences on our lives and how we do business… and in some cases, threatens the very survival of our businesses.

We now face more uncertainty in our business environment than since World War II, and our management, clients and colleagues have never seen anything like this. Horrifically, there have been close to 10,000 deaths in Canada so far, and just under a quarter-million deaths in the United States. Economists initially thought GDP could drop as much as 40% this year. Unemployment reached 13.7% in May, an all-time high. And our border with the US is still closed.

As management consultants, how can we address this uncertainty when helping our clients with strategic planning?

The answer is scenario planning, a technique used in past times of crisis. Our strategic planning webinar presents a practitioner’s version of scenario planning that consultants and business planners can use.

    Meet Greg Graham, Certified Management Consultant
